The Litter of Six

There once was a gray kitten, she was born in a litter of 6 kittens. She was a special kitten, for she had a purpose in her young life. Her Mommy cat whispered in her ear, telling her all about it. Her Human Mommy was an Angel with dark hair, her name was Gabrielle, like the angel. So little gray kitten learned and listened.

One day the kittens all had their eyes open at last Little Gray kitten looked around and smiled a kitty smile. She purred and purred and listened some more to what her Mommy cat had to tell her. It seems that the Angel Human Mommy had some sad things happen to her along the path of her life, her husband and her Daddy and two of her kitties were in Heaven now, she missed them all. She needed a reason to smile. Gray kitten knew she could help! No one could be sad with a ball of gray fur with blue eyes around.

So the time passed along and Mommy Cat continued to tell little Gray kitten more and more. Hmmmm, she had gotten some ideas and she knew so much about her Angel Human Mommy, they would be a wonderful match. Every kitten in this special litter has a purpose in their life. They were a sort of magic bunch, after all. They were born to be very, very special indeed.

The Angel Human Mommy

Meanwhile the Angel Human Mommy was thinking that perhaps it was time for her to find a new kitten. She would know where to look and she had a feeling the perfect little kitten would be there, just for her. She closed her eyes and pictured the kitten in her mind. Yes, gray fur and blue eyes and a touch of magic to make her special.

So Gabrielle, the Angel Mommy, who was as human as she could be, waited for the right time. She even chose a name for her kitten. She would be named, Phoenix! A name with a touch of magic.

Time to Meet

The day finally arrived for the two to meet. Gabrielle knew where to go to find her kitten. She knew at first sight that this was her very own girl kitty. She said hello to her new kitty, who would be named Phoenix. Well, it was not a surprise to Phoenix, she knew that was to be her name all the time.

Gabrielle and Phoenix smiled and smiled as they bonded a special bond quickly. Phoenix waved goodbye to her cat family, she knew they’d be back for a visit sometime soon. The magic works that way!!

So off they went to their new adventure and of course they did indeed live happily ever after. It worked out just the way it was written in the stars …
