Autumn Sunshine

Welcome back to Starshine Land ! More and more adventures are bound to happen. Summer and Siera are eight years old and are having much fun in school, come join the fun

Spring time in Starshine Land

Summer and Siera were enjoying the lovely sunny weather and everything all growing fresh and new, flowers all over the place. The swans were sitting on another nest, so they all were waiting for baby swans. Well, Summer and Siera were so grown up, they already knew that baby swans were called “cygnets”. They walked with their Mom and Dad and Sunbeam to the pond to check up on the swans. Sam and Stardust took turns sitting on the nest and standing guard. They said a happy, “Hello” to the family.

Sunbeam was just learning her beginning magic so she was trying all sorts of things around. She loved talking to the animals and all the pretty birds and everyone that lived all around the castle. She did a little spin and smiled, the swans both now had pretty ribbons on top of their heads

Sunshine and Moonbeam looked at Sunbeam and laughed. “Oh my goodness, will you look at that”, laughed the King. Yes, little Sunbeam was very proud of herself. The swan couple gave a patient look towards the littlest princess. “Take the ribbons back, Sunbeam”, smiled her Mommy. So little Sunbeam did a little spin and wished, and away went the ribbons. The swans both flapped a wing and said, “Thank you, little Sunbeam”. The family said a fond, goodbye to the swans. Time to head on back to the castle.

Time for Lunch

Summer and Siera helped their Mom get lunch ready. The girls had the table set in no time. Sunshine looked at them, “Girls, you used your magic?” “Yikes”, said Summer, “that was me, I got the milk glass too full.” She fixed that right away. Her Mom was really happy to see that. Sometimes while learning magic, the girls got too sure of themselves, and needed to slow down. So as they fixed the drinks and got the table all set, their Mom had lunch all ready. Sunbeam and King Moonbeam walked into the kitchen, they had been getting Snuggles, the kitten some food and water.

It was a happy lunch time, everyone talking and laughing and enjoying their food. Lucky for them all they were a family who all liked lots of vegetables and all sorts of good things. Sunbeam was learning and growing and she followed a lot of what her big sisters said and did.

Sunbeam was growing sleepy, it was time for a nap very soon. She blinked her eyes and giggled. She waited for her parents and sisters to see. Hmmmm, well Snuggles was looking pleased she had a beautiful red ribbon atop her head. Snuggles pranced around proudly for everyone to see. “Silly little girl”, said Moonbeam, “time for a nap”. Sunshine and Moonbeam both got up and in a flash the kitchen was all clean and off they went to tuck Sunbeam in for a nap.

Summer and Siera were sure that Snuggles didn’t like the bow, but they had to ask. “Snuggles, is that ribbon bothering you?” asked Siera. “It’s Ok, I think I look pretty and Sunbeam loves to make me more pretty even”. The girls laughed and laughed while the ribbon slowly slid off her head. Siera twirled and wished and fixed that ribbon right away for Snuggles.

Time for Homework

Summer and Siera were sitting doing their spelling homework, and thinking of new words they had learned. They both learned so quick and did know so much for only eight years old. They had to learn as their parents said, “the real way” that meant no magic. Mrs. Blossom their teacher taught them both the magic and the learning, they were having fun and reading to each other.

They loved to read to their little sister as well, Sunbeam loved it. They has been reading for years, which they made sure to tell anyone who would listen. Well, being twins is fun, who have someone right with you to learn and that is how it goes.

Sunshine and Moonbeam stood watching their girls and smiling proudly. They listened to the girls take turns reading, they had gotten their spelling done. “Hi Mommy and Daddy,” said Summer. “We’re almost done with homework”. Siera added, “Then we want to go back outside, it’s been ages since we looked at all the flowers.”

Magic with the Flowers

The girls went outside and were walking around the flower garden, they both were happy checking out the new freshly blooming flowers. They were happy to see two of their animals friends coming their way. “Hi, Snowball, Hi, Silver”, they said together. Silver as their friend, the beautiful silver fox and Snowball was the big fluffy white bunny. “Hi girls” they called back.

So all four friends took a walk through the flowers and talked and talked and picked out their favorites. Summer and Siera already had a fun plan in mind. They were going to find some flowers to change color and pick a grand bouquet for their Mom. They got a little carried away dashing here and there and grabbing flowers and spinning and wishing and goodness. A bit of a flash of color and there stood Mommy and Daddy.

“Young ladies”, said their Mom, “your magic is getting wild, little color flashes, what is going on?”. Moonbeam looked over the flowers, “Well these do look pretty, girls.” Indeed the flowers did, they were all rainbow colored. Splashes and dashes of color here and there. Magic went a little wild for sure, and things turned out alright though.

Moonbeam and Sunshine hugged the girls and told them thank you for the flowers. Summer and Siera knew it, their parents loved them and understood. Things around the castle could get a little silly for sure.

Off they all went, time for a treat of some ice cream. The girls skipped along in front of their parents, singing as they went. The King and Queen were lucky, their little girls were growing up so well.
