Autumn Sunshine

The growing girls

Welcome back to Starshine Land ! As always, things are sunny and bright. Queen Sunshine and King Moonbeam are blessed with
their 3 princesses, Summer, Siera and Sunbeam. The girls have grown a bit, and the twins are now eight years old, they are feeling very grown up. They have loads of fun teaching their little sister, Sunbeam, all kinds of things.
Two years old now and indeed the much loved youngest girl, Sunbeam makes every one smile.

The girls have their cousin Cheyenne, who is now four years old, they all share the fun and magic that happens in Starshine Land. Uncle Michael and Aunt Gypsy, are happy as can be with their beautiful daughter and their lovely nieces, such a happy family, full of love and caring.

School is in session

Summer and Siera are having a good time and also learning lots in school. They have so many friends and adventures. A typical day is a mix of magic and learning. Their teacher is named Mrs. Blossom, she’s their Mom’s friend and a very good teacher.

It’s the Spring time, a very special time in Starshine Land. The flowers are blooming and everything is sparkly and brand new. The children are learning new things each day. Their most fun project for the week is to find their favorite flowers and make them change color. Hmmmm, sounds like some special, fun magic!

Summer and Siera both chose the daisy as their flower they love the most. That seems to happen a lot, they think alike sometimes. “Let’s see”, says Summer, “what color are you having, Siera? I am going with purple.” “Wow, Summer, I was going to pick that, but instead I want pink.”

So on with with the magic, a pinch of this and a dash of that and twirl around and there you go. Oops, let’s see what is going on. Summer got her flower just right, all shades of purple. Yikes for Siera, she has each petal a differnt shade of green not pink! Mrs. Blossom smiles and gives her a little help. “Let’s try it again, Siera”, she says. Siera gets it right and smiles a happy smile. Siera’s friend Angel looks over and gives her a look that means she is also doing good with her flower. Angel has chosen a lilac and she wants it to be blue, all sorts of shades of blue and it’s looking perfect.

The class is giggling at Sam’s flower! He has a huge sunflower and it’s turned all black. It seems that something is wrong. Mrs. Blossom is so patient, she gives Sam a helping hand. One, two, three tries and Sam’s flower is just how he wanted, shades of red. Sam jumps up and down waving the sunflower around. “I did it”, he says with another jump. Wow, Sam sure can jump high! He looks over at Summer and winks at her. It seems Sam has quite the crush Summer winks back, she’s not very shy at all. Life in second grade, what fun!

The day passes quickly with all sorts of new things to be learned. Lunch time was extra special, pizza and salad with lots of vegetables. At the Starshine School, things are a bit different, magic is afoot, and lunch is sometimes a bit messy. Today went along fine, the kids are all munching along with their yummy salads and pizza. Sam has been brave and taken a seat right beside Summer Is this their first lunch date? I have a feeling Sam is not going to get over his crush on Summer so easy. Well, it’s very good, she likes Sam and she’s very nice to him always.

Back to the Castle

It’s early afternoon and the girls are home from school, their days aren’t long. Here in StarShine Land King Moonbeam and Queen Sunshine feel that children learn and it’s not needed for them to be in school all day. They are magic, after all and they learn quickly.

The girls hug their Mom and Dad and little Sunbeam. It’s nice to be home and Sunbeam misses them sometimes. She sure is a fun little sister. She gives so much love and laughter and kisses and hugs.

The girls all heard a loud Meow, it was their kitty, Snuggles. Sunbeam thought Snuggles was totally hers, but it was OK with Summer and Siera, Snuggles loved all the attention. It was so cute, Sunbeam and Snuggles talked a lot, so it did work out rather well. Snuggles was a grey striped little girl kitty, and she was a gentle soul. She love talking and talking, and making everyone smile.

A Night at Home

Summer and Siera asked their Mom and Dad for a fun night, they wanted their Daddy to play his guitar and for singing to begin. They had a lot of songs they simply loved, but they mostly wanted their favorite one. Daddy sang it to Mommy a lot, it was called “Sunshine”.

They all settled in and got ready for their favorite song. Here we go …

Yay, they clapped and clapped! Their Uncle Michael called it the “hippie” song It was an older song, and was still a fun song to sing PLUS it had their Mommy’s name.

It’s was the weekend but the girls were all yawning after a few more songs. It was time for sleep and bedtime stories and hugs and kisses.
