Kindness Counts
Mar 4th, 2012 by Autumn Sunshine
While out and about today I noticed the kind people and the not so kind. I believe, that being kind takes not much effort, and being unkind causes hurt. So why not be kind?
As I said, I noticed the kind and the not so kind while out. I was at the store picking up things for my kitties, Cassie and Shadow. So of course was in the pet “stuff” aisle. A very nice young girl of about 13 or so was talking to me about her cat. She was asking about what I got mine for fun toys, and she was just so loving her new kittie. Her cat was only a year old.
Well, the not so kind interrupted our chat. It was her Mom telling her to get moving, it seemed the Mom was ready to go!! She was just the type of woman that I wonder why they even had a child
just so impatient and almost mean. I could see the sadness in her daughters eyes. I just said nothing and smiled and turned and left. I keep wondering about them. Why not be a kind and loving parent??? Kids grow up so fast and the time is precious.

Autumn. I’ve been looking all over for you. You’re not active on facebook anymore, and I sent a dozen plus messages on twitter too. Did you change your address? How are you? I hope to see you here http://benzykaram.blogspot.in/
Hi Ben!! I’m so glad you found me
I’m not on either Facebook or Twitter anymore. I’ll visit your blogspot later on
I am so glad to have your blog link again
Thank You for all the lovely comments you just left on my page. It feels good to get back in touch.
I love this post, and it is also an excellent reminder that when we/I express a not so kind disposition, if even for a second, it can hurt others. We/I must always be on our/my best behavior when around or talking to others…People deserve to be loved and treated kindly…even the not so kind.
Excellent post Sunshine!
Love and Hugs to you,
Deb xx
Thanks so much, Deb
you understand it. That was just sad to see a “child” so sad. I “over mother”
so to me it was the worst. Kindness is the best. love and hugs xx
I love your photos!! I hope all is going good for you and with college and all. I’m so glad we’re in touch again
I just am never going near those two icky places, Twitter and Facebook!!! Yuck
Yes, we all need to remember to be kinds. One wrong phrase or bad attitude even for a moment can do a life time of damage to someone.
I’m not the one in collage…could you be thinking of Cha?…I don’t know. My collage days are over now. I’m on the other side of 50 now.
Love and Hugs, xx
OMG, I wrote that comment to Ben, he’s in India in college

love and hugs, and I’m glad it’s Friday!
Ha ha ha. That is just an avatar. I painted it several years ago and use it as my avatar since I do have short hair and about the same body size. Don’t worry, I got my share of wrinkles around the eyes…lol
Love and Hugs, xx
I do a lot of that….and squint in the sun.
Keep smiling
