While out and about today I noticed the kind people and the not so kind. I believe, that being kind takes not much effort, and being unkind causes hurt. So why not be kind?
As I said, I noticed the kind and the not so kind while out. I was at the store picking up things for my kitties, Cassie and Shadow. So of course was in the pet “stuff” aisle. A very nice young girl of about 13 or so was talking to me about her cat. She was asking about what I got mine for fun toys, and she was just so loving her new kittie. Her cat was only a year old.
Well, the not so kind interrupted our chat. It was her Mom telling her to get moving, it seemed the Mom was ready to go!! She was just the type of woman that I wonder why they even had a child just so impatient and almost mean. I could see the sadness in her daughters eyes. I just said nothing and smiled and turned and left. I keep wondering about them. Why not be a kind and loving parent??? Kids grow up so fast and the time is precious.
